David Briggs has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), succeeding Mark Hamlyn, who will be transitioning to the role of General Manager Product Lines.
David Briggs brings a wealth of experience from his tenure at prominent semiconductor companies, including Texas Instruments and Active-Semi International, as well as several start-ups. Beginning his career at Texas Instruments in 1990 as an Analog Design Engineer, David quickly advanced to Design Manager and ultimately General Manager. His leadership at Active-Semi International, where he served as Vice President and General Manager of Power Solutions and Worldwide Sales, was instrumental in driving the company’s successful acquisition.
Mark Hamlyn, Co-Founder and a driving force behind Apogee Semiconductor for over seven years, has 18 years of industry experience and an intimate understanding of the company’s technology, vision, and strategic direction. In Mark’s new role he will be responsible for setting Apogee’s strategic vision and implementation while ensuring the profitability of the business.
