Radiation-Hardened 8-Bit Serial-In Parallel-Out Shift Register
AP54RHC5942
The AP54RHC5942 is a radiation-hardened by design 8-bit shift register, serial-in parallel-out (SIPO), with output latch that is ideally suited for commercial space and other applications demanding radiation tolerance and high reliability. It has myriad applications including IO expansion, data-buffering, serial-to-parallel conversion, and more.
This device is a member of the Apogee Semiconductor AP54RHC logic family operating across a voltage supply range of 1.4 V to 5.5 V. Its wide voltage range support and logic level down translation enable flexible system integration.
- SEL/SEFI immune to LET of 75 MeV-cm²/mg
- 1.4 V to 5.5 V operation
- Cold sparing Inputs and Outputs
- Single-supply Level Translation
- Power-on reset (POR) ensures reliable power up and power down in hot plug and cold sparing operations
- TID RLAT 30 krad (Si) at 5.5 V
- Operating temperature range -55 °C to +125 °C
- Meets NASA’s ASTM E595 outgassing specification
- Moisture Sensitivity Level 1 (Unlimited)
